Why we built Naro

A study planner with soul.


We started building Naro after countless conversations with students who felt that studying was harder than it needed to be. They were keeping up, but it felt like a struggle.

They were juggling classes, assignments, personal wellbeing, part-time jobs, and personal lives with a patchwork of tools. Rigid calendars, multiple to-do lists, spreadsheets and table templates. Or, they were just forgetting things entirely.

So we built Naro. A flexible study planner designed for students with busy brains and lives.

Naro doesn’t just give you another long list of things to do (which rapidly gets out of hand). It helps you plan with your real life in mind. It brings your academic calendar and deadlines into one place, and lets you adapt as things change. Because, they always do.

And we’re not here to turn you into a studying productivity robot. We believe it’s not just about what you get done, it’s about how the process makes you feel:

Our mission is simple:
Create helpful tools, students choose to use.

The reality is, there are very few tools built exclusively for students. Most are made for corporate teams, or ‘general’ productivity and students have to feed off the scraps. We’re doing things differently.
